Private lessons are the heart of our studio. Sessions are typically held weekly in 30-, 45-, or 60-minute formats depending on age, experience, and commitment level. Every lesson is thoughtfully crafted to meet your goals, blending technique, creativity, listening, and real-world musical experiences.

CERTIFICATE OF MERIT®
We offer Certificate of Merit® participation in piano as a member of Music Teachers Association of California. Certificate of Merit® provides a standardized music curriculum for musical excellence in piano performance, technique, ear training, sight reading/singing, and music theory. Through a standardized curriculum, Certificate of Merit® provides a uniform pathway for music student growth at each level.
To participate, students must sign up for 45-minute or 60-minute piano lessons with Derek and complete all registration requirements.
