Lesson Policies and Procedures

We offer flexible lesson options, booked through our Acuity scheduler, designed to meet your needs, while keeping scheduling consistent and straightforward.

• Weekly Lessons: A once a week lesson, at a designated time, chosen by you. All lesson times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage early booking.
   
• A La Carte Lessons: Planning to attend once a month, every other week, or occasionally? No problem! Please note: A la carte lessons are billed at a higher rate due to the need to hold space that would otherwise go to weekly students.

We remain committed to providing high-quality instruction with flexible and transparent payment options.

Lesson Rates (as of 9/1/25)

(Rates are for weekly lessons.) 

• 30 minutes – $55
• 45 minutes – $82.50
• 60 minutes – $110

A La Carte Lessons

(Rates are for non-weekly students.)

Life happens, and we aim to offer reasonable flexibility within a structured framework.
 

All missed lesson can be rescheduled as a makeup, through our Acuity scheduler, and completed within the same month as the missed lesson. 

We do not issue refunds or credits for missed lessons, as we hope all students value their lesson times. Makeups not scheduled within the month of absence result in forfeiture. 

Vacation absences will never be charged, as long as we’re notified in advance. 

Please note: Missing more than 3 lessons per semester without rescheduling may result in removal from the studio schedule.
 

Invoices for the upcoming month are issued on the 23rd of the month.  Payment is due by the 1st of the upcoming month of lessons.  

Accepted Payment Forms: Credit Card (Invoice), Cash, Venmo, and Zelle

We offer auto-pay (not required, but highly recommended!)  Enrolling in auto-pay gives you a $10/month discount and helps ensure your payments are on time.

Invoices unpaid by the 1st of the month will incur a $25 late fee and may result in a pause in lessons.

We value clear and open communication.

Whenever possible, please provide at least 24 hours' notice for absences. In emergencies, notify us as soon as you can.
 

You’ll receive monthly studio updates and payment invoices on the 23rd of each month. These emails include important scheduling information, a calendar of events, announcements, and tips to support your musical journey.
